The fragrance for this product is fresh – with zero chemical scent common is many hair treatment products.The shampoo left my man's hair feeling clean and moisturized with the scalp feeling "fresher" (his words). The second bottle is a serum that is applied directly to the scalp with 2-3 drops on each portion of the scalp – as you separate your hair into lines and gently massage the serum for 10 – 15 minutes. This really works well if you have a partner who will do this for you. Even without this product, scalp massage has been shown to stimulate hair follicles. The serum is a leave in, and photos are included so you can see the ingredients.The product states it is better for hair that is thinning and not for hair loss – like balding. We just started to apply this product and cannot say if it will improve hair growth but the ingredients include a variety of herbal and fruit extracts that we hope will help with my man's current hair thinning that has occurred with age.There is a quality seal on the bottle and the product is tamper resistant with batch control and it's made in Vietnam with a contact number for that country. The only thing I am wondering is why this product is only for men.

I ordered this set of hair products to help keep strong hair. Overall, the shampoo, conditioner, and serem all smell about the same and are relatively mild. I would say they do lean on the sweet side a little bit which is different from the scent of shampoos I would normally use. After using the shampoo, my hair felt quite stripped of oils so I feel like the shampoo was quite effective. The conditioner helped bring some feeling back to my hair without making it super oily. Lastly, the serem was easy to use and apply and spread through my hair. The bottle for the serem is also a bit unique from normal droppers. Instead of squeezing and then bringing up the serem, you just push the button a few times which fills the dropper.I will have to report back about prolonged use!

This is a pretty good product, My hair is just slightly thin now. Not bad. And I swear after using the whole bottle it’s getting a little bit thicker. Maybe it’s my mind playing tricks on me but I think this stuff works pretty well. I don’t know much about this kind of stuff and it is the first time I have used such a product as I am 39 and I’m just getting to the age where I would need to use such a product. So about the product, It’s shampoo with a hair ointment. Feels pretty high-quality to me. But I am a carpenter so probably not the most knowledgeable when it comes to typically feminine stuff. You know what I’ll just show a picture of my hair, About 10 percent thicker at the front. I might buy two or three more kits and see how far I can take it.

Hair Loss From Abdominal Surgery.
I was desperate, I lost a little over 50% of my hair from cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) surgery. I also had covid shortly after. The serum was easy to use and didn’t leave my hair feeling greasy afterward. The only thing that I didn’t like is that the shampoo is so thick, it’s almost impossible to get out. The pump tops were included but that did not make it any easier. It took a ton of pumps to even get any out and then it took a ton more to get a quarter size dollop total. The conditioner was much better and easier to get out.

My husband finds this similar to a high end salon quality treatment. He hasn’t used it long enough to notice a change in hair growth however a week in he is happy with the change in hair texture. It deep cleans and softens his hair. The shampoo’s consistency is thick and not watery nor runny. It’s rich in a conditioner way and rinses thoroughly and leaves his scalp feeling deep cleaned. The shampoo, conditioner and serum is all amazing! The shampoo itself is extremely moisturizing and reduces tangling and breakage that I find with most shampoos. I have very fine hair and this seem to make the hair shaft thicker. The conditioner is even thicker and very moisturizing. The crazy part is is it doesn’t weigh the hair down. This is the first product with this type of consistency I have ever used that didn’t weigh my hair down. The serum is genius! I cannot say enough good things about this! Not the best value. I’ve used this shampoo and conditioner a few times now. First, I want to say that the shampoo and conditioner bottles are quite small at 300mls each. The fragrance is nice on both. Light, clean, warm slightly fruity scent. The shampoo is typical consistency of what you’d find in a normal shampoo. The conditioner is not runny by any means, but not thick thickest texture I’ve used. My hair felt cleansed and nice after washing. I used the serum which was nothing impressive or disappointing, just a typical serum. My hair still needed extra product to get the softness that I prefer. I didn’t notice any extra frizz elimination. It’s ok for just a regular shampoo and conditioner, but for the price point I just can’t see this being worth the value at all. This is not affordable for most people and you don’t get much product to even justify it.

These are my results after 3 months of use. So far I do see some definite improvement. This product is no exception, proving that high prices usually do mean high quality, premium products that are significantly better than their cheaper counterparts. This shampoo lathers up nicely with just a small amount, the scent is minimal but still manly. This set smells amazing. It’s light and fresh. The shampoo cleans and lathers well and the conditioner rinsed out without leaving a film on my hair. The serum was easy to use and didn’t leave my hair feeling greasy afterward. The only thing that I didn’t like is that the shampoo is so thick, it’s almost impossible to get out. The pump tops were included but that did not make it any easier. It took a ton of pumps to even get any out and then it took a ton more to get a quarter size dollop total. The conditioner was much better and easier to get out.

This is a really good shampoo and conditioner with a wonderfully pleasant scent. I used the shampoo and conditioner and then applied a dropper full of the serum onto my scalp and used a shampoo massager to massage it into my head. My hair dried to a soft and full head of hair. The one thing I noticed was that both the shampoo and conditioner is rather thick and not easy to pour out of the bottle. I ended up getting too much shampoo for the first time and it ended up lathering so much so a little goes a long way. Maybe they made the bottle a little stiff so you can’t squeeze too much! I honestly didn’t have the hand strength to squeeze it. That’s really my one complaint. Aside from that this set is wonderful and salon quality!

After 4 very awful years filled with stress, loss, & grief my body went through 2 5 7 month long episodes of tellogen affluvium. I had bald patches and a drastically receding hairline. I loved this product do to I could notice an improvement within the first month, the product was easy to swallow and the difference was amazing. I got this for my Dad. He’s uncertain because he tries all sorts of hair growth products and has been using 5% minoxidil for some time. This is a lot more expensive ($55.99) but claims visible and rather impressive results within only 10 days. My Dad does believe he’s seeing more hair growth, but again, can’t be sure which product to attribute it to. This serum is easy to use though and attractively packaged.

For me, this is just another shampoo and conditioner. It smells great and leaves my hair silky smooth.My wife on the other hand, wants and needs a product like this. She beats up her hair more than me. Coloring, blow drying, curling, etc. The hair in the shower drain has been acknowledged as hers. She is using this set daily and loving it.Anyway, per the wife… her hair already feels stronger and she is seeing less shedding in the shower. She said she will order this again (with my credit card).If you research this brand, the 40 day supply comes with two bottles of serum. That’s what we got. Been taking this product for about 2-3 months straight. I take the recommended 2/day and so far I am seeing light hair regrowth. I have a friend who used this product and has also had moderately positive results. In addition to taking Alika, I regularly brush my hair/scalp with a boar bristle brush (don’t think this makes a difference over a regular brush) focusing on trying to “stimulate” the scalp. Lastly, I recently started using castor oil whenever I shampoo (only been about 1 week) but I can swear I’m seeing new strands of hair that did not exist before. This 3-pronged approach seems to have some positive results.

This set smells amazing. It’s light and fresh. The shampoo cleans and lathers well and the conditioner rinsed out without leaving a film on my hair. The serum was easy to use and didn’t leave my hair feeling greasy afterward. The only thing that I didn’t like is that the shampoo is so thick, it’s almost impossible to get out. The pump tops were included but that did not make it any easier. It took a ton of pumps to even get any out and then it took a ton more to get a quarter size dollop total. The conditioner was much better and easier to get out.

This is a really good shampoo and conditioner with a wonderfully pleasant scent. I used the shampoo and conditioner and then applied a dropper full of the serum onto my scalp and used a shampoo massager to massage it into my head. My hair dried to a soft and full head of hair. The one thing I noticed was that both the shampoo and conditioner is rather thick and not easy to pour out of the bottle. I ended up getting too much shampoo for the first time and it ended up lathering so much so a little goes a long way. Maybe they made the bottle a little stiff so you can’t squeeze too much! I honestly didn’t have the hand strength to squeeze it. That’s really my one complaint. Aside from that this set is wonderful and salon quality!

Both products contain ingredients that are touted for being good for scalp and follicle health. The shampoo smells fresh, suds well and leaves my hubby’s hair nice and soft. He said that he noticed that he had far less tangles.The serum is in a glass bottle with a pump type dropper. The serum has a slightly thick consistency but dispenses and absorbs well. There is really no discernible scent.My hubby has been applying the serum, just on his balding spot, twice a week. He is really liking the serum and while he has not seen any accelerated hair growth, he says the hair fall/shed has decreased. As I get older, I noticed the texture of my hair changing even more than any change in thickness. This serum is a great preventative measure, even if you have a healthy scalp. As we get older, our body chemistry changes and so it’s a great idea to just maintain, a level of health instead of waiting for it to decline. This serum comes with an eyedropper that makes it easy to apply directly onto the scalp without it being a messy or lengthy process. After dropping a few drops onto my scalp, I rub it in and massage it around on my scalp and the edges of my hair it helps to soften the texture and keep my scalp from feeling dry or irritated.

With products like this it can take time before it’s possible to notice if they work as expected, so I’m focusing on what I can review for now: The product smells really nice and it’s easy to apply. Hair doesn’t feel oily nor sticky after use. The product looks attractive on the counter/in the shower, which isn’t something I’d normally expect to care about but I like that it looks and feels high end. While I find this product to be on the expensive side, I like the quality of it. The shampoo is nice and I experience less scalp irritation and it doesn’t weigh down my thin hair or make it oily. The serum also absorbs pretty well and doesn’t leave my hair looking greasy. I don’t love the box everything came in which looked super cheap and I find the “dropper” part of the serum hard to control how much product comes out. I prefer a classic dropper style for convenience but I understand that it visually looks fancier. Haven’t noticed any hair regrowth yet but time will tell.

1. No, as mentioned on the product page, the product is compatible with any other scalp topical or hair styling aids. Layering is fine.
2. As mentioned on the product page, the typical application is about one to two dropper bulb squeezes, 0.8 mL to 1.6mL, once daily. The measurement does not need to be exact, and we recommend applying enough serum for good coverage. For some, this might mean using more product than the instructions specify.
3. Only something like hair dyes while in process (very alkaline), and potentially very strong alcohol preparations, but we are not aware of any of the latter.

You get two items… a shampoo and hair serum. My husband tried both and he loved the fragrance! He said that the shampoo left his hair feeling clean and manageable. He was able to smooth out his hair easily after shampooing. The serum helps soothe his scalp. I don’t know if these products will actually help with hair growth, but the quality is great! The price is high, but comparable to products you might find at a hair salon. I recommend these products!

Haven’t noticed much difference but it smells nice and I think my husband’s had less hair fall. It’s pretty expensive so I was hoping to see results but it’s still early. The serum is thick and can sometimes make his hair look a little oily but it’s not terrible.

This set is amazing. The shampoo lathers really well and easily. The conditioner is super moisturizing and doesn’t feel heavy at all. The serum really makes my hair glow. I do notice less breakage during hair brushing after a few weeks of use. It does have a light scent to it.

I got this product to help me grow new hair, it is too soon to tell. I have put it on 2 times,since the first time made my hair soft. I have frizzy and somewhat puffy hair. I really like it so far. I will update pictures when I get new hair.I have used the product about 6 weeks, I notice new hair and some hair is not gray. The last 3 pictures are the after using the product after 12 weeks. It was hard to take pictures at the same angle to show the difference but I can tell the difference. It worked!. I will buy it again!

I don’t know why this is being advertised just for men. The shampoo is quite nice – lathers well and leaves my hair feeling soft and hydrated. I don’t care for the scent, but it doesn’t linger once my hair is dry. The serum is great – a nice consistency and feel. The bottle top was detached though, so took some fenagling to get it to work. For the price I would have expected a better dispenser and overall presentation, but so far I’m satisfied with the actual product.

Been using this for a month so far, and, well, have not seen any growth yet.I have been using this whenever I take a shower and wash what little hair I have left, and been following the instructions about applying a few drops to the area, massaging it in, and letting it sit for a while.Still a barren wasteland on the top of my head. I have been bald for a number of years, if that makes a difference, so I am not in the process of losing my hair. It has been gone for a while.No weird burning, no rashes, or anything like that from using this product. However, it is not really stimulating any hair growth for me.

Like everyone, I really want this product to work. The ALIKA Hair Growth Serum comes in a bottle with a built-in applicator, making it quite easy to apply. It has a pleasant scent and feels nice on the skin.That said, after 2 weeks of use, I have noticed no changes or positive results. I will continue to use it until the bottle is empty in hopes that it will produce the desired results. If I start seeing any improvements, I will come back and update my review.For now, I’m cautiously optimistic but haven’t seen any evidence of effectiveness yet.

My husband says he likes the shampoo, but you need several months of applying products to see hair regrowth, so he cannot comment on that. The serum will have to work miracles, as will the shampoo because he claims a person as bald, and for as long as he has been bald, generally do not see regrowth. At any rate, he likes the aesthetics of the products. Too soon to say he would recommend, but if the product lasts long enough to see regrowth, we will edit this review.

I’ve been using this for a few weeks and I really haven’t noticed any major differences. It is a nice set and only time will tell to see a difference. Would probably have to continue use over a longer term. The shampoo smells good and lathers nicely. Leaves hair feeling soft and clean. The serum is easy to apply and use. Very well made and high quality.

This is my 3rd bottle so far, and I am seeing baby hairs around my hair line, my hair is longer, and it feels thicker, therefore giving the illusion that I have more of it. I like the dropper application – it’s easy to glide onto various parts of your scalp.

I’ve been using Alika for 2 months now and it’s definitely worth it. My bald spot kept getting bigger and bigger from stress and all the hair dying I got done. Once I started using vegamour, my hair started growing back and now my bald spot is almost completely gone. The pictures below are from February 2023 and March 2024.

I’m familiar with some of the ingredients in this serum. I’m using it on my temples and hairline. I massage it in where I have thinning in those areas. I massage it in for 5 minutes only once at night before going to bed. My skin feels a little sticky at first when applying it, but my skin absorbs it well because it’ll feel smooth by the time I finish rubbing it in. I like that it uses a push pump dropper. I use a small amount at a time, and the dropper makes it easy to do that without wasting any. The serum has a scent, but it’s not strong or unpleasant to me. I’ve only recently started using it, so I can’t speak of its efficacy. The bottle is large enough that it should easily last me 6 months, especially since I’m only using it on my hairline and temples. I think I’m going to start using it twice a day when possible.

Reviews for this type of hair restorer product, one with a formula that this reviewer had not used prior to obtaining it are limited due to the time required to see whether or not the desired results are seen.Even so I can report on some details concerning what impressed me about the product and that is what I will concentrate on:As mentioned above this ALIKA Hair Growth Serum For Men is based on a chemical formula I had not tried before – not going to list those ingredients, but will emphasize the product seeks to halt or reverse hair follicle atrophy, which sounds like a wonderful approach and I hope it works for me. The dispenser bottle is also something new to me, sort of. The bottle top functions like an eye dropper and in place of a squeeze-bulb the tip-top is a push button, push and release which draws liquid into the stem and then when in the desired position over the scalp gently push the button to release the product. That is the way I did it, and it worked very well.I recommend this product based on these items but again have not seen any drastic results yet.
